I have mapped a pipe shaped ore zone on the 300 foot level, 400 foot level, and 500 foot level of a mine. I have the ore for each level as a separate layer. Can anyone tell me how to connect the elliptical shapes at each level into a 3d model, preferrably with properties I can use to calculate tonnages and volumes of ore at various sections of the pipe shaped body. ?? I am using acad 2007. I have been trying loft, extrude, 3d mesh, and spent hours trying to do this with out the result I want. Even a mesh would be great. The body plunges at different angles from level to level, from about -60 degrees to about -50 degrees. But it is roughly elliptical at each level. Thanks
