3D Orphan Mesh To Geometry Part

Hello everybody!
I have got a 3d-orphan imported that I want to transfer into a 3d-geometry part.
I know that there is the possibilty to do it for 2d orphan meshes by using "Part2DGeomFrom2DMesh".

Is there any possiblity to do it for 3d meshes, too?

Hi !

Try to export mesh to VMRL format. Then you can import it to CAD system.

I don't think its possible in Abaqus, because orphaning a mesh is like the "Remove Parameters" command in NX6 if you're familear with that. Exporting it as a VRML would kinda work, but you'd still end up with a faceted single body, non-editible I delieve too; at least not in any easy way.
