How do I create a 3d Pipe without having to buy the add-on Piping Module.

I can create a pipe in 2D using the SWEEP function. How do I create the trajectory as a 3d sketch, x,y&Z.

The HELP menu gives the following, but I can't seem to do it.
Propably a simple answer!!

To Create a Three-Dimensional Sweep
Create a two-dimensional spline and dimension it to a Sketcher coordinate system.

Modify the X-, Y-, and Z-coordinates for one or more spline points. You can modify the spline coordinates manually, or by using a spline definition file.

Hi Speedy

It's a 2 step process:
1) Make a datum point array offset from a coordinate system (it's in the datum point flyout). Enter the x,y,z points of your pipe, in order. You can manipulate the points with drag handles if you like.

2) Make a datum curve using the "through points" option. Then choose Single Rad (or multiple) and make sure Whole Array is also selected. Pick the first point in the array you just made. It will now prompt you for the bend radius.
