Hi,

I need some tips on 3D CAD programs.
The purpose would be to model/ do some layout job in 3D on an plating plant.
SolidWorks, ProEngineer or Autodesk Inventor could do the job, I suppose.
But what is the best solution, and why?
I don't want something too hungry on system resources and would like to have data management possibilities.
Can anyone give me some advices?

Thanks.
Try solids works the software is very user friendly, and has a good data base. One of my new engineers pick-up the software usage in two weeks. We have been using the program
for all our solid modeling needs
