Hi Gang,
i have'nt doen this before but, i am trying to join two parts together in an assembly drawing by means of a sweep. The cross section is round, my finished part would be a simple hose joining to part A and Part B.
Here's the problem, No 3d sketching is avalable in the assembly mode. I need it to make sure my hose connects with the two fixed parts.
Any idea's on how to accomplish this?

Thanks

Sounds like you need to insert a new part into the assembly, then edit that part in the assembly. Then you get the ability to add boss extrusions and or sweeps. See the help on creating parts in an assembly and how to edit them.

Assemblies only allow cut - features
Parts allow both cut and bosses

thanks Scott,
yes your right. I opened the part, added the 3d spline and cross section, then swept my curve.
I then went into the assembly and further edited the spline to make it touch the other part. Looks great!!!
