I am an engineer so dont get to involved with AutoCAD but how easy is it to do 3D text in CAD2000(never done 3D always 2D)?
I am trying to make some logos. Any suggestions on programs that may do logos easier would be appreciated as well.

I believe text needed to be exploded to polyline configuration. Filled text hatch are deleted. Use the Region command and Extrude command. You can give either positive or negative Z axis value in what direction 3D takes shape. Hope this helps - John

Thanks John, I will try it and see if it works. Any others ideas welcomed.

I don't think you need Region.
Just make closed polylines and extrude them.

IFR is right, did not need to define a region but did have to make it a poly line. Stars to both of you for the help.

PeterCharles,
Thanks for the link. I downloaded and tried. Seems to be pretty cool. I am not sure it is any easier than doing it in AutoCAD but nonetheless it is one solution. Thanks again.
