.3dxml viewed by 3dxml Viewer but can't be opened in CATIA

I have a product in 3dxml format (saved through virtools) which can be viewed by 3dxml viewer but cannot be opened in Catia V5. A warning says "some relative matrix are not isometric. Visualization could be incorrect."
What is wrong with Catia?

Did you create a blank product and insert the 3Dxml into it?

I loaded dae files into a .cmo and then exported the group of items to a .3dxml
I m just curious why the 3dxml viewer reads the parts perfectly and catia won't...

Hi Morgana,
Its possible to open a 3dxml file in both 3dxml player and CATIA.But since this file has been generated out of virtools it might be not compatible with CATIA.

Something strange is going on. The export version was the problem. Still, all items appear in the centre, whatever position I save them in. If I change the unit factor, catia won't recognize the parts at all.
