Hi,
I am to perform a site visit on a building with the above size glulams spaced 8' o.c. in San Diego to observe what the client says is a 4" sag and has been ponding. I have a framing plan with this size, dated 1962, but no specifications for these beams. Most glulams I have seen in the West are Doug Fir and sized 3 1/8"x and 5 1/8" x and up. I can't recall encountering this size before. I am wondering if this beam sizing might be familiar to someone and if you could guide me to additional engineering specs.
Thanks!
