Hi, im having difficulty placing a simlified centerline on an arc. SW2003 seems to only want to put 4 centerlines (crosshair) on a simple arc. (i know about the centerpoint option but i dont want that).
You'll know what i mean if you have a part with a radius and then project the part to a named view, then try and place a centerline on it. Is there a setting somewhere that will let me place only 1 to 3 lines instead of a full set at each quadrant?
Thx [pipe]

Usually in a case like this I just sketch some centerlines.

SW doesn't have much power in detailing drawings, specialy for those using ISO standards.

Many things you must do it yourself from scratch, with no help from built in features.

Do as TheTick suggested but... avoid create these centerlines "on the fly". If you change your part, the center lines will not move accordingly. You must have extra work creating relations or dimensions between the centerlines and geometry (or even edit the sketch of the feature to add reference geometry like points) so your drawing is correct after part changes.

Regards
