Doesn't mean you can't use other grades of material but they would be considered unlisted and it's up to you to qualify them per Code (para 323.1). If you want to use a Code listed material, you might consider A182-F6a (410 SS forgings) as these materials are listed in Table A-1 of B31.3. Might also want to review requirements in NACE MR0103 for refinery sour service requirements for these materials. Upvote 0 Downvote
