What data do people have on 4130 when stress relieving after welding (below tempering temp)

I am looking for info on the loss of UTS,YS.

Give some specific numbers about the material's history and for your proposed treatment.

The properties of the base metal should not change noticeably following PWHT. The properties of the weld and HAZ are dependent on the welding process and filler metal.

4130 can be heat treated to a wide range of strengths, it depends on what you order.

As long as your SR is at least 100F below the temper temp and the time is no more than 3-5 times as long you should see no property shift.
