Hi All
i have a 41CrAlMo7 pipe 50mm (2inch) in thicknes that must be welded with a St52 DIN 2391 pin, 165mm (6,5 inch) in diameter
after welded the pipe will be hardned and tempered and than nitrided
usually i weld them with consumable AVESTA P7 weldign wire.
i would try change the AVESTA P7 with Aisi 307
using Argon + 2-2,5 % CO2 shielding gas
what the expert say?
