We have an immediate need to obtain pricing and source a US equivalent that would meet ALL specs for 42 CrMo4V.

70mm round bar for bolt application

Yield point 750<s0.2<800 MPa - Elongation to fracture >12%
ISO - V impact test result at -40 deg C should be:
Average value over 3 samples >27J
Minimum value >70% of average value

Do you know of what US steel would meet the requirements? Is it 4140 or 4142 with Vanadium? Or is there another one?

The designation 42 CrMo4V is non-standard and unclear.

It seems that something close is Grade B16 according to ASTM A 193/A 193M Standard Specification for Alloy-Steel and Stainless Steel Bolting Materials for High-Temperature Service.
