This question is specifically Hot Tap / Line Stop Tees
I would like to quote the sentences of the 49 cfr 192.503 and 49 cfr 195.305
"The component was manufactured under a quality control system that ensures that each item manufactured is at least equal
in strength to a prototype and that the prototype was tested to at least the pressure required for the pipeline to which it is being added".
Does this mean for a manufacturer - EACH size of Tees needs to be hydro tested at the shop/manufactured place so that the CLIENT does NOT have to hydro test in the field?
