5 KVA Inverter

Hi all
I would like to design a 5KVA UPS with inverter(120 VDC/120VAC}
What is the best method to design such inverter with high reliability and efficiency ?
Is the Ferroresonant approach the best choice for such design? but as far as I know ,ferroresonant regulators show low efficiency at low loads.

Yes I think your efficency would be painfully poor.

If you are only going to supply 120VDC you are making more work for yourself. 170V would be a lot simpler...
