Hi,
I am creating a model for a 6 girder bridge with a lot of transversal elements. I started to create a model for each girder type and for the complex transversal elements. Then, I created a model for the whole bridge where I assembled the girders and the transversal elements using Tie constraints. In other words, the "Bridge" model is the assembly of girders models and parts (floor beams, lateral bracing ..). Please find further information in the attached file.
I am wondering if it a good way to do it or is it better to create all parts for the whole bridge in one single model and assemble it?
If you have any tricks or similar experiences of modeling, your feedback will be welcomed.

Thank you in advance.

Actually, both methods are good and it only depends on which one is more convenient for you. Personally I don't like working with multiple models because it might be confusing but in case of large structures with many subsystems it may be more effective to work with several models.
