The wall installer will install cladding and they need to weld two purlins together. Both has thickness of 1.8mm (5/64" or 0.70"), they plan to use the welding electrode 6011.. but I'm worried its deep penetration may melt the purlins. I need to know some tips. In such thickness. Do you use 6013 or 6011? Or can you use 6011 with weaker currents?
