I work/live in the U.S. and one thing I've come across is 6060-T5/T6 aluminum alloy, which is apparently European. I cannot find information such as 2010/2015 Aluminum Design Manual allowable stresses on this. I only have a document that states that it has "a strength slightly lower than 6005A". It gives a min tensile strength, which I can relate to the Ftu in the ADM, but the values are given in Mpa, and after converting, I am seeing a psi value of about 24ksi, vs. 6005A of 38ksi. Doing a ratio, that shows it has 63% of the capacity...I would hardly say thats "slightly lower". Anyone know of, or have any information pertaining to this material related to the Aluminum Design Manual?

ASTM B221 (for extrusions) gives Fy = 16 ksi and Fu = 22 ksi for 6060-T51 and Fy = 25 ksi / Fu = 30 ksi for 6060-T61.

If you need information about HAZ properties, then Eurocode 9 EN1999-1-1 Table 3.2b is where you want to look (though you'll need to convert to ksi). They also give strength values for various thicknesses.

I hope that helps!
