hello folks,
in general, How can i change the frequency of the output of 10KVA generators?

And change the UFRO jumper from 60Hz to 50 Hz.
Adjust the voltage and the stability of the AVR.

Buy a convertor?
That will work, but it is a lot of money to spend when two adjustments and moving a jumper will accomplish the same result.

Maybe he can't change the speed of the prime mover? It's just an option.

No details so who knows?

Also: If you get a response it's polite to respond to it.

Dear Mr. LittleInch
" Maybe he can't change the speed of the prime mover? It's just an option." I agreed.
It's just "another" option. Throw away the existing set and buy a " new " set, with the correct frequency and voltage. Simple. Any one disagreed (sarcastic)?

Awful waste of a perfectly good 60 Hz generator to just throw it away; maybe sell it used and get some cash for it?

What davidbeach and Bill said; be aware however that the capacity of the unit will be 5/6 of its 60 Hz rating.

You haven't told us what voltage you want at 50 Hz.
The maximum line to neutral voltage setting of a three phase, 60 Hz. generator is often 138 Volts per winding.
For 50 Hz that becomes 115 Volts per winding.
