Has anyone had any luck in designing a high rise light gage structure over a concrete podium slab? I am modelling the podium slab in ADAPT with line loads from the light gage walls. I am constrained by the parking layout beneath and trying to make 25-28' bays work. I am thinking concrete shear wall stair and elevator cores and transitioning to CMU shear walls for the top three stories.

Sorry left off half my response...

It would depend on the layout of the walls and how much solid wall you have. I would be inclined to the use the LFRS as you've suggested. The construction you're referring is somewhat common (atleast around midwest USA). What are your questions / concerns?
