I'm looking for information on alloy 7079-T6 material properties. From what I have been able to find online, this material is for extrusions and is considered "obsolete". Any information would be greatly appreciated.

You can find all the mechanical properties in the older versions of Mil-Hndbk-5. I know it is in 5B and 5C.

Crackman, thanks for that reference, I will try to dig one up.

40818, that's as close as I'll probably get. Thank you.

It seems this material only comes in plate form. My customer is requiring this material for a 5.00" diameter part.
