What happens if you open the same file interactively ?

I haven't the journal in my computer.
and I'm out of my work place for a week.

Meanwhile I ask myself what matter not
Suitable. Is it graphics issue?

How does your code "open" the parasolid file?
In interactive NX, when you go to file -> open and change the file type to parasolid, NX will create a .prt file in memory and add the geometry from the parasolid file. I don't think you can do assembly operations with this part file until it is saved to disk; a journal would have the same limitations.

Hi Cowski

Your explanation is rights and clear.

As I remember the journal use UFPart.open.

And maybe the ps file is corrupted.

Thank you very much.

If your code is trying to add the parasolid file directly as a component of an assembly, that could also be the source of the error.
