750V DC cable and Overhead Catenary system- High Voltage Testing

Dear All,

We have 750V DC Traction system including 750V, 1kV Rated, HDPE Insulated Cable and OCS/OCR contact wires.

According to my understanding, either DC or AC Hi-pot test is applicable on cable/conductors rated with 5kV or above.

Here our client insist us to do HI-Pot test on 750V DC cable and over head catenary system.

Kindly suggest me the recommended IEC or any other standards for such test.
