I am an enthusiast trying to resolve an H-bridge pwm motor driver to replace the push pull drivers on MIT's public domain/educational 68HC11 board (commonly known as the "handyboard" to enable simultaneous control (direction of rotation and speed/torque) of multiple (5v-35v) DC motors (to 2hp). Many of us are familiar with the logic and development system of this board but are dissatisfied with the amperage limitation. This is a hotly debated limitation of the board and a solution would benefit many students and enthusiasts.
I am considering a piggybacked 20kHz dual channel MOSFET. However, before I jump in, I thought I might solicit advice.
Thanks in advance for any and all observations, pointers and encouraggement.
Regards,
HAB
I anyone is interested, the handyboard docs are here: Once again thanks.
