Helo!
Our 850W vacuum cleaner smoked, when my mother used it. She turned it off as soon as she noticed the smoke. When I took a look at the inside of the machine, it turned out that the capacitor caught fire. Now I am considering replacing the capacitor, the only problem is that the old one has the following spec. :“0,1uF+2*2500 pF 250V 6A f0=1.6MHz ” and it has 2 leads at each end. Not an ordinary capacitor. The question is: what value should the new capacitor have? It is a monophase 850W asynchronous motor. What the 1.6 MHz means?
