Hi everyone,
I'm in the mining industry and sometimes I need to calculate power demands but I just copy and paste values from other projects (load factor, diversity factor, power factor, efficiency, etc) but I want to understand and have a good background to confirm that a factor is wrong or ok for an specific equipment as Hig Mill, Ball Mill, Pumps, etc.

Thanks in advance!

IEEE Red book may be a good place to start. There is a FAQ of good sources located on this site.
