a 'wrap' mate?

I know there's a way to wrap a decal to a solid feature, but what's the best practice for wrapping a decal/solid feature to an assembly?

Are you talking about a decal that you created as a solid part or adding a decal in PV360?

The 'first' instance you said however, I can do either.

If you can do either I would suggest the PV360 route. Just go to PV360/Edit Decal then browse to the image that you want to use. Adjust your mapping settings to make it look the way you want, and you should be home free.
