Hi Everyone!
I'm building a custom streetbike,supercharged SV1000, and am fitting a liFePo4 battery due to space restrictions. This is well and good being a fairly straight forward process, but getting a definitive answer on whether or not I need to run a battery BMS (battery maintenance system) is a bit unclear. Pretty much every 'home build' A123 battery doesn't have one with no reportes ill effects.
Most 'off the shelf' LifePo4 set ups do. What are your thoughts? If I need one,what type and where to get?
