My company doesn't work with Cr-5/0.5 Mo very often. We recently had an application that requires (2) 12" Sch 40 Weld Caps, in addition to pipe and flanges, for a small welded component.
Our regular stocking vendors came back with pipe, flange, and plate quotes as required. However, I received no-quotes and an email from one vendor stating that their manufacturer (USA Domestic) no longer manufactures this particular item. After several fruitless searches, I have been unable to find another supplier who stocks this item.
At the risk of violating eng-tips' anti-promotion policy, can anyone provide direction for a stocking supplier of weld caps in A234-WP5?
