I am trying to remember the feeler gauge I used to check A325 structural bolts after I impacted them, to make sure they were good to pass QA/QC. What in your opinion is the best feeler gauge to use to check impacted washers/bolts to ensure they are impacted properly? -309735

Is this for Direct Tension Indicating (DTI) washer inspection?

I used to use somewhat long, individual, feeler gauges, rather than a set, because they get can get bent pretty quickly while checking bolts. When one would get kinked or bent, I'd toss it and grab another from my vest pocket. You can get them cheaply on Amazon or other hardware stores.

Also, a full collection of gauges can be a little awkward and clunky when you're up in a JLG and have limited maneuverability.

DrZoidberWoop,
I'm just trying to check the space between the impact washer and the nut, where the three tits on the impact washer are supposed to smash down and flatten when impacted with a pneumatic impact gun.
