A572 Gr 50 plate material

Hi everyone,

Can anyone tell me if the ASTM material A572 Gr. 50 meets standard ASME requirements? I looked up for this material in ASME Sec 2, Part D but could not locate it there. I am assuming that this material is not adopted by ASME. Can anyone confirm the same and if this plate can be used in lieu of SA 285 Gr. B for a low pressure (310 mm WC) but high temperature (300 Deg C) application?

Assuming you are talking about VIII-1 application.
In this case, no, you can't use it since it is not appear in Table UCS-23.
