Ladies and gents,

I am having a hard time following A13.3.1. My main question is, what happpen if my wall is retaining some soil load, then on the top of the soil, the wall acts like a barrier for collision force TL-3? Where do I start?

Thanks

The TL loading is for the barrier and its anchorage to the wall, not the wall. DOTs have standard details for connecting barriers to walls.
