Good afternoon,
I am having issues with the additive plug-in for Abaqus 2021.
I have the 2021 version, but I had to add the plug-in myself. However, the download on the Simulia website had only the 2018 version of the Plug-In.

I'm looking to do eigenstrain-based simulation, which the documentation for the 2021 version of the plug-in says should be a simple selection from the "Create AM Model" window from the AM Modeler Plug-In. However, the 2018 plug-in that I have only allows for Thermal/Structural/Thermo-Structural selection.

The Knowledge Base has not provided me any more information.

Does anyone know how to download the 2021 version of the AM Modeler Plug-In?

Thank you for any help.

This plug-in has been reworked several times in previous years. Currently (in 2022 release) it’s built into Abaqus and you don’t have to download it separately. If you can access this version of Abaqus, it will be the best solution.

Unfortunately I do not have access to 2022. Just 6.14, 2018, 2020, and 2021.

Is 2018 the latest version of the plug-in available on the Simulia site? There is nowhere else to get a more recent version?

Unfortunately, the only version of the plug-in that can be downloaded is the one available on the Dassault Systemes website "Digital Additive Manufacturing". But maybe you could at least download the newest fix pack for Abaqus 2021. The built-in plug-in should become available then.
