Abaqus _Install_Linux

Hi,

I am trying to install abaqus 6.14 on ubuntu 14 by using a mounted iso folder via the ./setup command but the compilation was aborted and I get the following error message :
"The installation should not be executed from the directory that contains the setup files.
Please change your current working directory and rerun the installation."

How I can fix this pb ?

Go to the folder you want to install Abaqus in and execute the setup command from there (ie, instead of ./setup, you would use $PATH_TO_ISOFOLDER/setup from your desired install folder).

Thank you for your help zwtipp05, The installation is ongoing, but for to continue the installation I must provide the url for abaqus documentation ?

You should probably read through the installation instructions again. You can add the documentation later by editing your abaqus environment file. Or you should have installed the documentation first as the instructions said.

Abaqus/CAE did not installed, enclosed the report of the abaqus installation.

in order to complete the abaqus/CAE installation, I installed shared libraries libstdc++.so.5:
sudo apt-get install libstdc++5

Hi abaqus users,

I progress step by step on abaqus, when I run abaqus cae the diplaying of the interface is very poor I can not see the menu only the workspace, below some error messages that I get :
