Hello,

I am wondering if there is any way to access a History Output from a Fortran subroutine? More specifically the output variable: Total heat flux across the surface: SOH. I'd like to apply the exact same flux from one surface to another surface via the use of DFLUX. Have done something similar with sensors and UAMP, however sensors are limited to single nodes/vertices, and can't include whole surfaces.

Grateful for the help, best regards

You can try to do this using GETVRM utility routine. It can be called from USDFLD or UVARM subroutine. The latter allows you to define your own output quantities that are functions of variables available in Abaqus.

Have been fiddling around with GETVRM on a simple model, however can't seem to get it to return anything using print*, ARRAY(1) (even NT11), as such i don't think i understand GETVRM fully and haven't found a suitable example/instructions yet.
