Abaqus AM Plugin error

Hi everyone, i am new to abaqus, i want to simulate an additive manufacturing (LDED) process using AM plugin 2020, i have created heat transfer and static structure models and followed the basic steps for AM plugin when i run the heat transfer job i am facing these errors, (not all at a time)
1) Too many attempts made for this increment.
2) User subroutine uepactivationvol is missing
3) The selected Primary Variable is not available in the current frame for any elements in the current display group.

how to resolve these errors?
do i need user subroutine with AM plugin ?

Do you have the same version of Abaqus and plug-in (2020) ? Can you get a newer version of Abaqus ? This plug-in is built-in since Abaqus 2022.

yes i am using the same version, i also tried on 2024 but still recived this error

Strange, it shouldn't happen in 2024 where the plug-in is built in (better don't use 2024 Golden though as the plug-in is partially broken there due to Python update - hot fixes will work). It was only necessary to include subroutine files before the AM feature got integrated into Abaqus which was for 2017, I think.

yes i agree, there is no need for subroutine.

How to identify where correction is needed ?,
is there any solved example or toturial available for AM plugin, where i can acccess ?

There are only some workshop examples for older versions of the plug-in (they should still be available in the Knowledge Base and Simulia Community on 3DSwym). Abaqus documentation includes .inp file examples so you would have to recreate them in Abaqus/CAE using the AM Modeler plug-in and compare the keywords.
