Abaqus - AMD RADEON and Ryzen 7 7730U

I am looking to buy a laptop for use in university, specifically for my Mechanical Engineering course. I will need to run software like Abaqus and other light simulation tools. Can you confirm if the CPU and GPU in the HP 15-fc0029np (Ryzen 7 7730U and AMD Radeon) are suitable for this purpose?

You should check the CPU/GPU compatibility page for each software you want to use.

AMD is often cheaper; NVIDIA is more widely used. It is likely the software suppliers care a lot more about working right on NVIDIA.
