Abaqus: apply BC to surface 1

Hi,
does anyone know, how to apply Boundary Conditions to only those nodes in one surface? I imported the orphan mesh (it's a volume mesh of a screw)and I created the surface in Assembly mode.
Now I want to apply the BCs but I can't choose my created surface.

Surfaces can be used for features that have to be applied at faces, so Pressure load or a contact for example.

You have to create a node set and use that for the BC.

Fastest way to do: Use the display group manager to display only your surface. Then define the node set and use a drag-box to select everything in the viewport.
