abaqus cae 6.3

I was analysed my problem in abaqus 6.2 and now it's updated to version 6.3. When I open my .odb file, my old model has become junk. The node-element connectivity has changed for my 3-D results. Do anyone know how to solve this?

The odb in ABAQUS is not compatible between 6.2 and 6.3. The best suggestion is to re-run the analysis in 6.3.

I could be barking up the wrong tree completely, but I vaguely remember seeing an 'abaqus update' command in the release notes for 6.3, which I believe is used to transform the odb file from the old format to the new..... I haven;t got the manuals to hand to check this though... sorry if it turns out to be a dead end, but it may save time if it turns out to be true.
