Abaqus EEIG Output

I'm working on implementing the inherent strain method in Abaqus 2022.
In summary, I'm doing a small, sequential thermo-mechanical simulation in order to get eigenstrains that are then applied to a mechanical, part-scale simulation.

I'm been able to run a thermo simulation that outputs NT, and feeds that into the first mechanical simulation. I can get that one to output stress (S), displacement (U), etc., but the eigenstrain (EEIG) output is always zero across the entire part. Is there some setting/factor missing in order to get this output?

Any help is appreciated.

Check the output files (msg, dat) for warning messages. They might indicate the source of this problem.

The only warnings I have are for 2x recoater interference in the msg file.
The dat file has 4x:

- THE OPTION *TEMPERATURE IS USED BUT THE OPTION *INITIAL
CONDITIONS,TYPE=TEMPERATURE IS NOT. THE INITIAL TEMPERATURE VALUES
ARE ASSUMED TO BE ZERO.

- THE REQUEST FOR MISES OUTPUT WILL BE REPLACED BY A REQUEST FOR S
OUTPUT

- OUTPUT REQUEST CF HAS BEEN REMOVED AS THERE ARE NO APPLICABLE
LOADS IN THIS STEP

- INITIAL TIME GIVEN BY FILE DATA IS 2.81250E-04. THIS IS LESS THAN
THE SUGGESTED INITIAL TIMESTEP OF 2.0000. INITIAL TIMESTEP RESET
TO 2.81250E-04.

Have you prepared this simulation using the AM Modeler plug-in or manually ?

Check the Knowledge Base article "Abaqus/CAE Plug-in Utility for Additive Manufacturing Process Simulation" if you have access to it. There you can find ready-made workshop files (including instructions) for Abaqus 2021 and older. One of these examples concerns eigenstrain analyses.

Yes, the files were generated with the plug-in, based on those examples. I need the thermo-mechanical eigenstrain result to feed into the eigenstrain part print simulation.

I'm just confused as to why some outputs were successful, but EEIG failed without a warning message.
