Abaqus error-Excessively distorted elements-RC Frame

HI guys,

I have modeled RC frame under lateral load (applied force at the top beam). I have applied force as pressure load over surface. Reinforcement is modeled with truss elements and concrete with Concrete damaged plasticity model. Reinforcement is embedded in concrete.

Job won't finish, it aborts at 0.8652 s, and the step is 1s.

Error message is:
There are a total of 18 excessively distorted elements
The part map file "F:\Mrs\Vlo\RCframe.prt" is corrupt, does not exist, or cannot be opened.
The elements contained in element set ErrElemExcessDistortion-Step2 have distorted excessively.
Abaqus/Explicit Analysis exited with an error - Please see the status file for possible error messages if the file exists.

I have used Abaqus/Explicit.

Does anyone have some suggestion? It would be very helpful.

Have you opened the ODB and highlighted the reported element set? Maybe this gives an idea what wrong.

Yes, I have tried that. And this is is the most annoying thing: ABAQUS crashes every time I do that!!! It won't show me distorted elements, it just shuts down. Do you know why is this happening?

When I go to job diagnostics and select critical elements and check the box Highlight items in viewport, ABAQUS shuts down. And on prompt it says:
GUI detection error while waiting for ipc connection to close.
ABAQUS Error: ABAQUS/CAE Kernel exited with error.


And when I go to display group and select ErrElementDistortion-Step1 and check the box Highlight items in viewport, it doesn't highlight anything!
