Good Morning fellow colleagues,
I am trying to run a quasi-static analysis using ABAQUS Explicit. My model consists in a Polymer Cylinder clamped on one end and compressed on the other.
Because of my material properties, I have to impose a controled displacement of 6 mm/min until it reaches 80 mm. This leads to my questions:
1-) How do I impose a time dependent displacement li ke the one I mentioned;
2-) Since I am using ABAQUS explicit to run a quasi-static, i need to make a load step control or mass scaling. Any recomendations?
I am an ANSYS user starting to use ABAQUS, I appreciate any kind of help!
