ABAQUS/Explicit: Obtaining strain rate of individual element

I am trying to find out the total strain rate of an individual element.

Which one of these options should I use? Is there any formula to combine the ER[sub]ij[/sub] tensor components to get an unified value similar to von Mises stress?
