Abaqus - force increase/decrease with time

Hello everyone

I am doing a project on a prosthetic limb part of my project is doing FEA on the foot , what i am aiming for is to run a simulation in which i decide the force at certain time and increase this force lets say by 400 N 0.5 s later . for instance ,
Time - force
0 - 100 N
0.5 - 500 N
1 - 300 N

etc....

any advice would be really helpful

If time doesn't matter and you use a static analysis, then you could three steps. Safest way to do it. Otherwise you can use an Amplitude to scale the load with time. Look into the Keyword Manual for *Amplitude and follow the links there to the Users Manual.

Well time matter because i want to plot a x-y graph with respect to time .
also its more than 3 steps because what i am aiming for is the force distribution across 1 sec with around 0.05 or 0.1 time interval . anyways thanks for the reply ill check the amplitude .

It seems like you don't understand the meaning of time in a static analysis.
