Hello All,
if i want to use contact pair module between 2 parts, surface to surface type with friction. i should do the same mesh for these 2 parts or should not. Thanks

When defining surface to surface contact in Abaqus you are asked to select master and then slave surfaces. There are a few rules used to decide which surface should be master and which should be slave but in terms of your question there's a rule that surface with coarser mesh should be chosen as master. There's no requirement that meshes have to be of the same density.
