Abaqus - Meshing Of Hollow Part, Part turns solid when moved to assembly to mesh

Hello! I just started using Abaqus. I am trying to simulate stretching of part(picture attached) with hollow space inside. When I add the part to assembly and make it independent and then mesh it, the hollow parts are no longer hollow but solid. This is my first simulation on Abaqus, it would be great if anyone could help me out with this issue.

Check this geometry in the Part module. You may have to use Shape —> Shell —> From Solid option on it.
