Abaqus ODB part import issues when using antialiasing?

Hi all,

I am trying to import the deformed geometry of a part from the final frame of an ODB (Explicit analysis) into an Abaqus Standard analysis. I have successfully done this before using the File > Import > Part, however, I receive an error when importing from this particular ODB 'No valid node displacements were found in the specified frame'.
I believe this is being caused due to this ODB using antialiasing whereas the previous ones did not. The Abaqus User Manual says that 'When importing deformed parts, the deformations are read from the field output variable U, if available; otherwise, the deformations are read from the field output variable UT'. As this ODB uses antialiasing, it outputs the field variable U_ANTIALIASING instead of U, which I think may be causing the problem but I very well may be wrong.

Could anyone anyone off any insight into this? I cannot find anything online as to how to get around this - have you any ideas? I am using Abaqus scripting so am not just limited to Abaqus/CAE.

Thanks in advance!

Try this workaround:
Use a second field output request with just U and no filter. If you only need this at the end of the analysis, then you can also set the Frequency parameter to a high value.
