Abaqus optimization error due to missing parameterfile

Hi, thanks for reading.

I am having this problem where when I submit an optimization job for validation, I get the following error

Error in Opt-Process-1: Optimization parameterfile given by --opt <parameter-file> does not exist.
Error in Opt-Process-1: Check that parameterfile "Opt-Process-1.par" exist !
Error in Opt-Process-1: Optimization process failed with an error.

Have no idea how to fit it, and no solution online either.

Any ideas would be appreciated to the max!

So, first question: Do you have an optimization parameter file setup? Is the syntax in it correct? Is it on the path or in the folder you are calling Abaqus from?

Hello , thanks for your reply. I actually have no idea what that file is. I can't find any mention of it in the manual or the optimization example. ..

Posting your files and/or the commands you're trying to execute would help. Which optimization example are you speaking of?

The file is there too.

When I click submit (the optimization job), the error posted above shows up.
