Hi there, I have modeled a thin rubber sheet with dimensions: 0.1m * 0.1m * 0.01m, a linear elastic material with E =3MPa and nu =0.49.
I applied symmetry boundary conditions on two adjacent edges, and a uniaxial displacement loading of 0.1m normal to one of the other edges. (and NLGEOM is on)
The output is that of the rubber sheet, deformed BUT when I run an animation, it shows that the whole body of the rubber sheet moves over time and ends up in a different place than the original model.
I can not figure out why this is and if it is effecting my results???
Please help! thanks x
