Hello,
I have a bolt with preload, i was not able to run the model until i prevent the motion parallel to shank(all the shank to let the model work, since part of the shank will not make the model work)
so i get result like in the following video and i have two question?
1. why the stress is in y direction is not uniform ,since the preload have to be uniform over the whole length, and do preventing the motion along the whole shank in y direction have an influence on the answer(is it correct)
2. i try to use the path technique to draw the stress along the shank buy i got wrong answers(see the video)
THE Curve should increase then decrease, since the maximum in the middle
do i use the technique correctly!!!
Thank you all
